D&RGW, Rio Grande Southern, Sumpter Valley and the White Pass & Yukon Ersa 1924
These cars were orignally standard gauge cars that had become surplus and
been rebuilt to operate on the D&RGW RR narrow gauge lines. This volume
shows all the details on these cars including many variations that came into
being after they were sold off the D&RGW property. The Sumpter Valley had
bought one of the cars very early on well before the White Pass picked up so
many of them. The Sumpter Valley and the Cumbres & Toltec have the only
two pairs existing of the original arch bar type trucks these cars rode on.
