Our Quick Pic Book series shows the subjects in extensive black & white photographs which have often been digitally edited to best exhibit the details.
This is the first book done just on these two locomotives. It shows them inside and out and in operation on the Sumpter Valley Railway in Baker, Oregon. They also ran under the control of the US Army's 770th Railway Operating Battalion in WW2over the rails of the White Pass & Yukon and after the war stayed up on the White Pass. During the time they ran over the rails of the White Pass, they wore road numbers 80 & 81. In recent years the group operating the Sumpter Valley Railway as a tourist line now made arrangements with the White Pass & Yukon to get these two locomotives back to Oregon. So far number 19 is the only one that has been fully restored to service but plans are in place to get number 20 up and running as well.

This book is spiral bound so it lays flat and has heavy duty,
full color, paper covers and is 8 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
